The San Francisco Giants are two weeks away from reporting for Spring Training, and have a lot of expectations headed into the 2016 season. Their 40-man roster is filled up, and they have 22 non-roster players coming into camp looking to earn jobs for themselves.
The odds of those non-roster invitees earning a spot on the big league roster are slim to none, but everyone will have their opportunity to earn a job. From the onset, the Giants’ 25-man roster looks to be set, but nothing is written in stone. Injuries, as well as good performances that are too much to ignore, will happen, and some surprising moves could be made.
