From 2010 through last year, the Giants had four seasons with four 12-run games and two seasons with three 12-run games. It’s a fun day when it happens, but it’s something you would usually only see once every couple months. This season, the Giants are putting a dozen on the scoreboard just about every week.
Wednesday’s 13-9 win was the third time in 23 games the Giants have scored at least 12 runs. They have already done it twice at AT&T Park.
