Giants fall to walk-off in Bumgarner's return

Bumgarner allowed three runs on four hits, while striking out five in his first start since he injured his shoulder in a dirt-bike accident April 20. He allowed a solo homer to Matt Szczur in the third and a two-run shot to Jabari Blash in the fourth, but the Padres didn't do much damage otherwise.

Padres starter Jhoulys Chacin withstood a rocky first couple of frames, before settling in for six innings of three-run ball. Joe Panik took Chacin deep in the sixth, tying the game at 3, but the veteran right-hander was otherwise sharp over the final four frames.
