Giants GM Bobby Evans addressed the issue on KNBR 680 on Thursday, and clearly indicated the team is leaning toward placing Cain on the disabled list and bringing up Chris Heston to start Sunday against the Cardinals.

"We're leaning toward giving the ball probably to Heston that day," Evans said.
