Torture never ends for Giants fans, even after their favorite team's playing days are over for the year.
In the latest episode of Giants torture, conflicting reports have continued to swirl around 20-year-old Cuban outfield prospect Eddy Julio Martinez.
Last Sunday, reports surfaced that Martinez and the Giants agreed to a deal worth $2.5 million.
"We haven't announced it yet. But we are very excited about the prospect of putting that on paper and having him as a Giant. We are very impressed by him and he's excited as well," Evans told the media during a press conference the next day.
