The San Francisco Giants continued to make a plethora of roster moves Friday afternoon, according to multiple reports.
Reliever Mike Broadway has been optioned in order to bring up left-handed reliever, Josh Osich.
Broadway, 28, has appeared in six games for the Giants out of the bullpen. He has pitched 7.1 innings, striking out five batters, for a 3.68 ERA.
Osich, 26, is 0-1 with a 1.50 ERA and has struck out 37 hitters in 36 innings pitched in the minors this season. He was a sixth-round draft pick for the Giants in 2011.
Also, to make room for the 40-man roster, the Giants designated Brett Bochy for assignment.
