Hunter Pence is out today with minor back tightness. Bochy said Pence could have played today but he was going to give him a rest day soon anyway, so it became today. Pence is expected back in the starting lineup tomorrow.
Joe Panik is out today with groin tightness. Panik ran the bases in the afternoon and then took BP, and he said he's feeling much better.
