Giants, Bumgarner fall 6-3 to Rangers

ARLINGTON, Texas - The Giants returned to this steamy town for the first time since they clinched the 2010 World Series, and they were full of emotions again but for different reasons.

At the end of the fourth inning in the Giants’ 6-3 loss to the Rangers, Madison Bumgarner barked at his opponents during a benches- and bullpens-clearing episode.

It was hot and muggy (95 degrees at game time), and Bumgarner fell behind quickly when giving up two runs in the first inning and four in the second. Adrian Beltre and Elvis Andrus hit two-run homers.

When Delino DeShields flipped his bat after popping up for the final out in the fourth, Bumgarner seemed to take exception.
