3 Reasons Why The San Francisco Giants Can Win The World Series

There's still a while to go in the 2015 MLB season, and the San Francisco Giants are pegged as a true championship contender again this year. Here's 3 Reasons The San Francisco Giants Can Win The World Series This Year:

1) Madison Bumgarner

If the San Francisco Giants work their way into the postseason again, can you really bet against Madbum? A resurgent Tim Lincecum and a returning Matt Cain will be of great use as well, but the Giants have the luxury of knowing that Bumgarner is up for the challenge regardless of the load placed on him in the playoffs. The Giants will never be far out of any race or series if the reigning World Series MVP still has a pulse going.

2) Bruce Bochy

Bochy now on the Mount Rushmore of modern-day managers (or managers from any era for that matter), with three World Series rings in five years in the coffer. No offense to American League teams, but it only adds to the luster that Bochy in a National League environment that requires double the strategic thinking without a designated hitter to use as an advantage. We're convinced that he could lead a high school junior varsity team to a winning record at the MLB level.

3) Championship Experience

Some of the key piece from last year's World Series run are gone, but the majority of the roster is still battle-tested from last year's unreal championship run. You can never discount the "been there, done that" philosophy of guys like Buster Posey in a game so predicated on confidence and mental resolve. We'll take the savvy veteran boxer over the young bucks any day of the week.
