SANTA MONICA, Calif. – The San Francisco Dons prepare to hit the beach for the 2017 West Coast Conference Championships, contested at Ocean Park Beach on Friday and Saturday.
The seventh seed in the bracket, USF plays the No. 2 seeded Saint Mary's Gaels on Friday at 10:30 a.m. The Dons and the Gaels have faced off twice this season, with each match going the way of Saint Mary's by a 5-0 score.
USF's second match will be against either No. 3 Loyola Marymount or No. 6 Santa Clara in the afternoon session. USF has not seen the Lions squad on the sand this season, and battled Santa Clara on April 12 in a tight 3-2 loss.
