An unprecedented 12 athletes will represent the University of San Francisco at the upcoming NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Track and Field Championships in the preliminary competitions, the largest contingent of Dons to take the trek to the West Regionals.
Representing disciplines from the 800 meters to the 10,000 meters, USF head coach Helen Lehman-Winters is looking forward to the weekend in Austin, Texas, with an eye on advancing to the final rounds Eugene, Ore.
"This is by far our largest and most talented group that we are sending to the NCAA regional meet, and this is a tribute to what a great job both my staff and athletes have done this past year," she said.
