So Dez Bryant is going to play through a hairline fracture. Yeah...ok. If he does play, don’t expect a single catch to occur in his zip code. Defenses aren’t dumb either, I’m sure the 49ers will be happy to put, say, Arik Armstead on Bryant throughout the game due to the fact no Cowboy coach is going to want to chance having that injury aggravated further.
I can see Jim O’Neil right now calling this defense:
O’Neil: “I see your decoy, I raise you one Arik Armstead” and then the D-Tackle drops back into coverage. The sad part is, that probably would work.
