Kelvin Taylor, son of Jacksonville Jaguars all-time leading rusher Fred Taylor, joined the 49ers backfield as a sixth-round draft pick Saturday.
Is he familiar at all with the 49ers depth chart?
“I know they, we, got Carlos Hyde out there. Oh, man, you guys have to help me out after that,” Taylor said.
Ok, well, now they have Taylor, too.

“I like it. I like it,” Taylor responded.
Taylor actually has several incumbents to battle as Hyde’s backup: Shaun Draughn, DuJuan Harris, Jarryd Hayne, Mike Davis and Kendall Gaskins.
“I feel I’m an every-down back and ready to get out there in camp to make plays,” Taylor said.
