The San Francisco 49ers are still considering a quarterback with the No. 2 overall pick, according to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport. He reported that “several sources with knowledge of the team's thinking” say the team is strongly considering a QB with the pick. Sources told him the 49ers view North Carolina’s Mitchell Trubisky as the top QB on the market, and, “those who know coach Kyle Shanahan well insist North Carolina QB Mitchell Trubisky would best fit what he does on offense.”
The 2017 NFL draft is three days away, and this year features a draft with a lot of teams up top looking to trade down.
