Dwight Clark is apparently stoked about Kyle Shanahan as head coach of the 49ers.
“I am very excited for him to be the head coach,” Clark told KNBR on Monday. “I would love to have Kyle in there. I think that would be great.”
The 49ers great went so far as to call the Falcons “my new favorite team” because of Shanahan, Atlanta’s offensive coordinator.
Clark is particularly impressed with the West Coast stylings of Shanahan, the son of former 49ers OC Mike Shanahan.
“He seems to have something going there in Atlanta that is very innovative.
