49ers Sign 1st-Round Pick Deforest Buckner, Eight Other Players From Draft

The San Francisco 49ers have agreed to terms with No. 7 overall pick DeForest Buckner. The former Oregon defensive lineman signed a four-year deal with a fifth-year option, according to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio.

Buckner, the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year in 2015, is expected to immediately slot into San Francisco front seven, joining former Ducks teammate Arik Amstead on the team's d-line. In three years at Oregon, the 6'7'', 300-pounder totaled 232 tackles, 17 tackles for a loss and 18 sacks, including 10.5 in his senior season.

Buckner isn't the only Niners draftee to sign on the dotted line. Fourth-rounder Rashard Robinson (CB), fifth-rounder Ronald Blair (DE), John Theus (OT) and Fahn Cooper (OL), sixth-rounders Jeff Driskel (QB), Kelvin Taylor and Aaron Burbridge (WR), and seventh-rounder Prince Charles Iworah (CB) all signed four-year deals. First-rounder Josue Garnett (G) and third-rounder Will Redmond (CB) are the only 49ers picks that have not yet signed.
