49ers Rumors: 49ers have inquired about trade for Eagles WR DeSean Jackson

With the free agency market dominating 49ers rumors for the better part of a week, it is a potential trade which could end up as the San Francisco 49ers' biggest coup of the offseason.

According to CSN Philly, CSN correspondent Derrick Gunn has learned that the Philadelphia Eagles are listening to trade offers for former Calfornia Golden Bears wide receiver DeSean Jackson. From the looks of it, the San Francisco 49ers are one of the teams who they happen to be listening to--

"The team has taken inquiries from the 49ers and Patriots, Gunn has learned from a league source, and notified the Pro Bowl wideout early last week that it’s not shopping him but is listening to potential suitors."

Gunn also learned from said source that "the Eagles are seeking at least a third-round pick and potentially more for Jackson." The wide receiver has allegedly spoken with teammates over the matter, expressing a level of distress with the potentiality that he could be shipped out of town prior to the beginning of the 2014 NFL season.

The San Francisco 49ers target and Long Beach, California native reached the third NFL Pro Bowl of his six-year career (all with Philadelphia) in 2013. He posted career-highs in receptions (82), receiving yards (1,332), and tied a career-high in receiving touchdowns (9).
