Former Padres Reliever Bud Norris Signs with Atlanta Braves

A player’s value can change in a moments notice. Just ask Bud Norris. After a 2014 season with the Baltimore Orioles where he won 15 games, he was sent packing to the San Diego Padres in 2015 after he managed to allow almost as many runs as innings pitched in 11 early starts for the Orioles. For the Padres he wasn’t much better in 20 relief appearances. Now he has signed a one year contract for $2.5M with the Atlanta Braves where he looks to get his career back on track as a starting pitcher.
