Spurs Rumors Roundup: San Antonio Not Interested In Conley, Kevin Durant Latest & More

The San Antonio Spurs were surprisingly eliminated from the playoffs by the Thunder in the second round, and with questions about the futures of Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili, they have a few holes to fill as they try to win another championship. Here's all the latest Spurs rumors you need to know:

Spurs not interested in Conley?
San Antonio has been linked to Mike Conley in free agency as a potential upgrade over Tony Parker at point guard, but they might not be interested, according to ESPN's Marc Stein:

This may be in response to Conley not reciprocating San Antonio's interest, as he said Parker's presence put the Spurs further down his list. Along with the Grizzlies and Spurs, Conley is being heavily pursued by the Dallas Mavericks. He averaged 15.3 points and 6.1 assists per game last season.

Spurs meeting with Durant on Saturday
The Spurs were one of the six teams to land a meeting with Kevin Durant in free agency, and that meeting will take place in New York City on Saturday, reports Stein.

Durant is also meeting with the Thunder, Warriors, Clippers, Celtics and Heat.

San Antonio to trade Diaw?
San Antonio needs to create the cap space necessary to sign Durant, but Boris Diaw may make that pursuit even harder, as Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders explains:

The Spurs could Diaw today before his guaranteed money increases, or trade him to a team that has an abundance of cap space. Duncan is now on the books for over $5.8 million for next season after he picked up his player option - though that money could still be freed up if he retires. Here's a full breakdown of the moves San Antonio needs to make to create the cap room to sign Durant.
