In a huge win for the city and the fans, but even more so for the organization, Tim Duncan has officially joined the San Antonio Spurs staff. At Media Day this morning, coach Gregg Popovich had a bit on an announcement:
Pop said Tim Duncan has an official position with the Spurs, asked to elaborate, he said he's the coach of whatever he feels like.

While an official title is forthcoming, the Silver and Black’s new COWHFL won’t be on the bench during games due to his being “too smart for that.
