Green won’t stop shooting as he adjusts to Spurs new offense

Danny Green has been through shooting slumps before.

The fact Green came into the game against the Phoenix Suns shooting 29.5 percent from three didn’t bother him. The hard part is keeping the confidence, remembering to always do what Green is paid for: shooting the ball.

“That’s it,” said Green after the Spurs defeated the Suns, 98-84, thanks in part to his season-high 18 points.

Green finished 4 of 9 from beyond the arc (7-for-15 overall) against the Suns, the most 3-pointers he’s converted so far this season. His last four games prior: a combined 7 of 21 on 3-pointers.
