MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary’s women’s tennis will open 2017 on a high note as two doubles teams from the Gaels have achieved national ranking prior to the start of the spring season. The teams of Parminder Kaur/Emma Critser (No. 51) and Jana McCord/Jacqueline Pelletier (No. 60) were recognized by the ITA after strong performances in the fall.
Kaur/Critser went 4-2 during the fall of 2016 as a team and recorded decisive wins over teams from Cal and Stanford. The Gaels’ duo defeated the team of Maria Smith/Maya Jansen from Cal 8-3 at the 2016 ITA Div.
