MORAGA, Calif. — In the season’s non-conference finale, the Saint Mary’s women’s soccer team (2-7-2) went the distance against UC Davis (4-5-2), and after 110 minutes of action, neither team could capture the golden-goal as the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
Tied 1-1, the Gaels would take the lead in the 76th minute off a beautiful header by forward Hannah Diaz which found the bottom left corner. Marching down the field, Jessica Imbrie got the ball racing down the right sideline and delivered a perfect cross into the middle of the six yard box to find Diaz for the textbook header.
