SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Alexis Salmons was named All-West Coast Conference Honorable Mention Monday after hitting a team-best .327 in 16 WCC matches with 110 kills and 46 blocks.
Salmons missed the Gaels’ first two WCC matches of the season due to injury and still excelled to be named alongside the conference’s best this season. Salmons’ .327 hitting percentage in WCC matches was sixth-best in the conference. Her 110 kills in WCC play were third on the team and her 46 blocks were second.
“Alexis is well-deserving of this recognition,” said Saint Mary’s head coach Rob Browning.
