EUGENE, Ore. — In the final game of the 2017 season, the Saint Mary’s lacrosse team (1-13, 0-8 MPSF) battled and forced a tight match before falling to the Oregon Ducks (9-7, 5-3 MPSF), 19-11.

The Gaels offense shot 21 times with 15 on target. SMC was also 15-for-27 in clear attempts and caused nine turnovers.

First year player Jillian Dunlap led the attack with four goals, two assists and six draw controls. She finishes the season with a team-high 61 draw controls.

Junior Jocelyn Lubert collected another hat-trick on just three shots to finish the campaign with 31 goals.
