MORAGA, Calif. — Two double-doubles and a West Coast Conference-opening victory over Gonzaga earned Saint Mary’s volleyball’s Lindsey Knudsen Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honors for the week of Sept. 19-25.
Knudsen had 14 kills in back-to-back matches last week versus Gonzaga and Portland. She also had 14 digs each night for her seventh and eighth double-doubles of the season. Her 14 kills were team highs in both matches. Her 14 digs led the Gaels Thursday versus the Bulldogs and were just one behind Emily Bible’s 15 digs Saturday versus Portland.
