Playing on the road is tough. The familiarity of home court and a friendly crowd screaming its support for your squad is gone, adding more pressure to the game. In addition to the on-court burden, players have numerous hurdles to face on the road. There’s constant travel, a lack of home-cooked meals, switching time zones and other obstacles.
Recently, the Sacramento Kings faced these challenges and more. Starting in Brooklyn on Nov. 27, the team was on the road until Dec. 7 when they ended their trip in Dallas with a win.
