Buddy Hield, one of the newest acquisitions for the Kings, made an impressive debut yesterday evening. The self-proclaimed “Buddy Fresh” showed Sacramento why he’s considered a valuable threat on the perimeter.
Thursday night, he displayed numerous skills, including the smooth stroke he became famous for at the University of Oklahoma. In an exclusive with Kings.com, he listed it as one of the strengths of his game.
“I like to shoot the ball,” he shared. “I’m going to shoot and I like to score.”
Scoring 16 points on 60-percent shooting along with snatching six rebounds, the former Sooner looks to have made an accurate assessment on his game.
