Sacramento Kings News: Rudy Gay And Carl Landry Both Out Vs. Miami

The Sacramento Kings have been hit hard by the injury bug lately, and a few of the problems picked up earlier this week are still bothering Rudy Gay and Carl Landry enough to keep them out against the Miami Heat on Friday.

Gay suffered a knee sprain earlier this week, and he's currently listed as day-to-day going forward. While he'll miss tonight's game against the Heat, don't expect him to be out for more than another game at most. Gay is currently averaging 20.4 ppg, 4.1 apg, and 6.0 rpg in 35.6 minutes per contest for the Kings.

Landry sprained his wrist against the Dallas Mavericks, and he's in the same boat as Gay when it comes to recovery time. Landry has been one of Sacramento's few bright spots off the bench this year, and he's averaging 8.2 points and 4.4 rebounds in 18.7 minutes per game.

Sacramento (16-22) will play Miami (17-22) Friday night in the first game of a back-to-back sequence. They'll host the Los Angeles Clippers (26-13) on Saturday, then have a day off before traveling to Portland (30-9) for a Monday night matchup with the Trail Blazers.
