Rutgers athletic director Pat Hobbs has hit the right notes since his hiring in November. But Hobbs' statement on Tuesday that he's working on bringing a football game to Yankee Stadium was not in tune with the wishes of many Rutgers fans.
In an NJ.com poll with more than 2,700 respondents, 68.9 voted against having a Rutgers game at Yankee Stadium. I'm actually surprised the vote wasn't more lopsided based on the emails and tweets I received about the idea that were unanimously opposed to a game in the Bronx.
