How many Rutgers football players have been arrested since 2012 and how does it compare in the Big Ten?

Since Kyle Flood took over as Rutgers football coach in 2012, six Scarlet Knights have been arrested on various charges.

But that total puts Rutgers in the middle of the pack among its Big Ten peers, according to a database detailing arrests, legal citations, and charges against people in the sports world.

Iowa has totaled more player arrests than any other Big Ten school since the beginning of 2012 with 15, according to the website Arrestnation.com.

While Michigan (13) and Ohio State (11) have each totaled double-digit arrests during that same time frame, the total of six player arrests ranks Rutgers seventh among the 14-team Big Ten (scroll through the photo gallery above to see the full list).
