Super Tuesday: Comparing The 7 Presidential Candidates To Football Coaches

In the world of politics, there are few days more important than Super Tuesday. Multiple states hold their primaries on this day, and it often decides who wins their party's primaries. With Super Tuesday on America's mind, it got us thinking about the presidential candidates and how they compare to football coaches.

The two Democratic party candidates are Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. The five Republican candidates still in the race are Ben Carson, Donald Trump, John Kasich, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz. While no candidate matches up exactly with a football coach, here is our 100 percent completely serious comparison of football coaches and presidential candidates.

Ben Carson Is ...

Both Carson and Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis are still in the mix, despite having never won anything. Lewis hasn't won a playoff game in 13 years and Carson is well behind in the Republican race.

Bernie Sanders Is ...

The old, white guy similarity is pretty much the focal point of this one. But both are also set in their ways. Kansas State head coach Bill Snyder is going to recruit JUCOs and find a way to win at Kansas State. Sanders is pretty much a socialist. Neither one is going to change.

Donald Trump Is ...

Jim Harbaugh is on a mission to make Michigan great again. He's done so in a similar fashion to Trump; manipulating the media and finding a way to consistently stay in the headlines. There's a reason Harbaugh has already been called the Donald Trump of College Football.

Hillary Clinton Is ...

The naysayers of both Clinton and Patriots head coach Bill Belichick say the same thing: they're a cheater and a liar. Plus, in this comparison, that makes Bill Parcells Bill Clinton. That just makes sense for some reason.

John Kasich Is ...

It's natural the Ohio governor John Kasich is matched with former Toledo and Illinois head coach Tim Beckman. Both won in Ohio, but aren't ready for a promotion.

Marco Rubio Is ...

Rubio and Florida head coach Jim McElwain are young up-and-comers. Both showed promise early this year, but it looks like they'll both come up just short. Rubio was also student at Florida.

Ted Cruz Is ...

Cruz is from Canada, and former Chicago Bears head coach Marc Trestman coached there.
