After three days of severe weather pounding the Houston area, major flooding has occurred all over the city, including the Rice Owls' football field.
KTRK posted this shocking photo on Twitter of Rice Stadium on Wednesday, with a full sheet of standing water over the field. Apparently, due to the severe rain, the field has taken on more water than it can drain, reports CBS Sports.
Thankfully for the Owls, they are in the midst of the offseason. But if the stadium experiences further flooding, it looks like the swim team could take advantage of the rain and hold its own meet on the field.
