RSL’s Lennon, Acosta help lead U.S. to 1-0 win over Senegal at U-20 World Cup

The kids didn't need a dramatic comeback. Not this time.

The U.S. U-20 national team moved to the top of Group F with its 1-0 victory over Senegal in Incheon, South Korea, on Thursday. The Americans are now 1-0-1 in group play as they prepare to face Saudi Arabia on Sunday. A win Sunday guarantees the top spot in the group, while a draw cements advancement to the knockout round, as well.

And once again leading the charge was 17-year-old forward Josh Sargent, whose 34th-minute goal was all the U.S. needed to wrap up its first win at the U-20 World Cup.
