Purdue-Notre Dame Football Series Changed

Last week Purdue announced that it would host Memphis in 2020 and Indiana State in 2022 as part of its future schedules. This week it adjusted the coming resumption of the Notre Dame series.

After playing every season between 1946 and 2014 the Fighting Irish went off the schedule following a Shamrock Series game in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium during Darrell Hazell’s second season. Originally, they were going to return to the schedule on September 19, 2020 with a visit to Ross-Ade Stadium. Purdue would then go to South bend in 2021, host the Irish in 2024, go to South Bend in 2025, and have a neutral site game in 2026.
