Purdue football continues it’s scorching hot June by pulling in the commitment of Jimmy McKenna, a 6’5, 260 pound 3* OT from Avon, Ohio. McKenna holds an impressive offer list including: Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan St, Minnesota, Pittsburg, and West Virginia. Overall, McKenna is one of the highest ranked prospects in Purdue’s 2018 class.

My favorite play on his junior tape occurs at the 18 second mark, where McKenna and Avon perfectly set up a screen and you see McKenna get to the second level and punish a defensive back (ironically, McKenna hit the kid so hard, he moved onto the next block and the defender accidentally makes the tackle).
