The frenzy that is the undrafted free agent period after the NFL Draft was beneficial today. Purdue saw its draft streak extended to 20 straight seasons when the Green Bay Packers picked DeAngelo Yancey. After the draft four more players signed undrafted free agent contracts:
Jordan Roos - Roos had a chance to get drafted, but once the draft was over he was able to ink a deal with the Seattle Seahawks. If he can make the roster he would be the second Boiler out there, joining Cliff Avril
Jason King - It is hard for an undrafted free agent to make a roster, but King has possibly the best shot as he signed with the defending champion New England Patriots.
