With the addition of power forward Caleb Swanigan, a five-star recruit who was the 2015 Mr. Basketball in Indiana, Purdue has catapulted itself into the college basketball spotlight. On Tuesday, “#Purdue” was trending nationally on Twitter. Head coach Matt Painter beat the likes of Michigan State’s Tom Izzo, Kentucky’s John Calipari and Duke’s Mike Krzyzewski to a recruit.
