Women’s swimming and diving won the President’s Cup again after compiling the top team GPA in Purdue athletics during the 2015 spring semester. The Boilers’ 3.59 GPA was the best in the Big Ten as well as tied for sixth nationally with Northern Colorado, Ball State and Yale.
Programs receive CSCAA Scholar All-America Team honors for 3.0-plus GPAs in the fall or spring semesters. Women’s swimming and diving had 22 student-athletes (sophomores and older) earn Academic All-Big Ten honors for individual 3.0 GPAs. That total accounted 47 percent of Purdue’s 47 Academic All-Big Ten honorees for the winter sports season.
