Purdue center A.J. Hammons will return to school for his senior season, the program announced Saturday. Hammons earned second team All-Big Ten honors as a junior, averaging 11.9 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.8 blocks.
“We are excited that A.J. has decided to remain in school and continue his education and career at Purdue,” coach Matt Painter said in a statement. “A.J. will be a very large part of our team next year and we are looking for him to play with the consistency and effort that we know he is capable of playing with.
