ADAM CRAFTON: Olivier Giroud is set to sign a new contract with Arsenal but doubts remain over the futures of a string of players including Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.
Giroud has emerged as Arsenal’s go-to man over the festive period, with three crucial late goals among his tally of nine for the season.
Arsenal remain hopeful of securing new deals for Ozil and Sanchez but both are still to agree terms, with Sanchez a particular concern. Their deals expire in the summer of 2018.
Eric Bailly would be keen to link up with Victor Lindelof at Manchester United as the defender continues to be linked with a move to Old Trafford.
