Leonard’s season didn’t quite live up to expectations, but it still provided some flashes of his future potential. He will enter this season on a new 4-year 40 million dollar contract and it will be up to him to stay on the court to prove the Trail Blazers spent their money wisely. Leonard was playing his best basketball before a shoulder injury sidelined him for the final month of the regular season. His rare blend of size and shooting make him a highly coveted player in today’s NBA, which was on display in some of his better games from this season.
