After impressive wins against the Cleveland Cavaliers and Indiana Pacers earlier this week, the Denver Nuggets finally hit a wall. Despite DeMarcus Cousins not playing due to a lingering ankle injury, Anthony Davis was just too much to handle. The All-Star center scored 31 points and grabbed 15 boards in the 115-90 destruction of the Nuggets.
The win puts Denver just a ½ game ahead of the Blazers for the final playoff spot. As the Blazers continue playing the Lakers down in LA, it’s unknown whether they are aware of their current situation.
