Tuesday afternoon brought new details of the Nike NBA Jerseys, per a release by the brand. The eight-year deal will start next season, replacing Adidas.
One of the big changes coming is the jersey construction.
Nike removed seams to “eliminate distractions” for players wearing them. Hemlines on the jersey and shorts received changes as well to allow better motion for players.
“The mental advantage of a quality uniform is priceless,” Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving said. “The fact that Nike listened to all of our feedback while developing the new NBA uniforms speaks volumes, I’m excited for the new fit and feel.
