LaMarcus Aldridge Earns Second Team All-NBA Honors

Portland Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge was named to the All-NBA Second Team, it was announced today by the league. 

Aldridge, 29, averaged a career-high 23.4 points (46.6% FG, 35.2% 3-PT, 84.5% FT) in addition to 10.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 71 games. He finished the season as one of three players ranked in the NBA’s top-10 in both scoring (seventh) and rebounding (T-eighth). Aldridge led the NBA in field goals made this season (659), making him the first player in Trail Blazers franchise history to accomplish that feat. 

Named the Western Conference Player of the Week twice in 2014-15, Aldridge became the franchise leader in both defensive rebounds (5,434) and double-doubles (234).
