BREAKING: Blazers' LaMarcus Aldridge Putting Thumb Surgery On Hold, To Play Against Wizards Saturday

The Portland Trail Blazers were ready to dig their heels in with superstar LaMarcus Aldridge slated to be out 6-8 weeks with surgery on a torn ligament in his thumb.

Aldridge's presence will be huge for a Blazers team that has lost five or its last six and was in danger of falling into the shuffle in the Western Conference without their top scorer and rebounder.
