Trail Blazers forward Al-Farouq Aminu arrived in Johannesburg, South Africa on Monday ahead of the first-ever NBA game on African soil to take place on Saturday. As part of the NBA's Basketball Without Borders initiative, Aminu will represent Team Africa on Saturday as it takes on Team World. Born to Nigerian parents, Aminu will team with Miami's Luol Deng, Oklahoma City's Serge Ibaka, former Trail Blazer and current Hornets forward Nicolas Batum (parent from Cameroon)and others on Team Africa coached by San Antonio's Gregg Popovich to take on Clippers guard Chris Paul, Chicago's Pau Gasol, Memphis' Marc Gasol and more representing the Mike Budenholzer-coached Team World.
