AUSTIN, Tx. --- Sophomore Noah Schutte will join senior Grace McConnochie at the NCAA Outdoor championships on June 7-10, after qualifying with a second place finish in his heat in the 3000m steeplechase earlier this evening at the Mike A Myers Stadium. McConnochie qualified in the 10,000m last night with her ninth place overall finish.
"Super smart and tough racing by Noah," said head coach Rob Conner. "He ran a perfect tactical race coming from behind. He really finished fast too, so that is good for the prelims at the NCAA championships in two weeks. He will need to run a prelim in Eugene.
