Men’s Tennis Success Leads to More Opportunities

PORTLAND, Ore. – A breakout 2017 season for the Portland men's tennis team has catapulted the program into some high-profile events for the upcoming season. Reigning West Coast Conference Player of the Year, Michail Pervolarakis, will represent the WCC at the Oracle/ITA Masters in September. Portland will also be one of 60 teams nationally to participate in the 2018 ITA Kick-Off Weekend.

"We had an amazing season in 2017 and are still reaping some of the rewards from our success going into next season," Portland head coach Aaron Gross said. "One of the results of Mike being named conference Player of the Year was him qualifying for the Oracle/ITA Masters tournament in Malibu this September.
