It didn’t take long for the Pittsburgh Steelers to move on free agent running back and kick returner Knile Davis. Shortly after the former Kansas City Chiefs back came to Pittsburgh for a visit, he was given, and agreed to terms, on a one-year contract.
Steelers sign RB/KR Knile Davis, a 25-year-old who ran 4.37 at 2013 Combine. KR avg of 26.8.— James C Wexell (@jimwexell) March 20, 2017
Davis, who will certainly add NFL experienced depth behind Le’Veon Bell, something only Fitzgerald Toussaint can claim on the current depth chart, has been primarily used as a kick returner since entering the NFL.
